Is there a free plan?
Yes. The Free plan is $0 with no card: up to 3 users, 1 yard and 100 gate transactions a month, with 30 days of history, and it never expires. It covers gate in and out from a phone, with the trailer number read on the device, a timestamp on every record and a photo whenever the camera is used. The yard map and door board are included. C-TPAT inspections, the audit pack and API access are on Pro and up. Start at app.vantageyms.com.
Is there a setup or implementation fee?
No. Setup is self-serve and designed so your first gate transaction can happen the same day you sign up.
Do I have to sign an annual contract?
No. Plans bill monthly and you can cancel anytime. Annual billing is available and saves 15 percent, but it is optional.
Do I need to buy hardware?
No. Vantage runs on standard phones and tablets. There are no RFID readers, kiosks, scanner guns, or camera towers to purchase or install.
What counts as a transaction?
Three things count: a Gate IN, a Gate OUT, and a Yard Check (one per check cycle). Everything else is unlimited: driver ID scans, reports, dashboards, and carrier appointments. Yard moves, driver and forklift task queues, dispatch and inspections are on Pro and up.
What happens when the free trial ends?
Starting free in the app at app.vantageyms.com needs no card: you get every Pro feature for 14 days, then the account moves to the Free plan, which never expires. It does not lock, and gate in and out keep working within the Free plan limits. Paying up front is optional: if you pick a paid plan at sign-up instead, the card is taken at Stripe checkout, $0 is charged today, and the first charge is on day 15 unless you cancel.
What if I outgrow my plan?
Change plans from your account at any time. There are no overage fees, so a busy month does not produce a surprise invoice.
Can I run more than one site?
Yes, on paid plans: Lite covers 2 yards and Pro covers 5. Scale and Enterprise are for larger multi-site networks; email us with your site count. The Free plan is 1 yard.
Do you work outside the US?
Yes, with limits. Prices are in US dollars: the Free plan is $0 and paid plans start at $149 a month. The app runs in English and Spanish. It runs on iPhone, Android and in a web browser. The Android app is live on Google Play (an update fixing Google sign-in is on its way); Gate IN/OUT works on Android; photo number reading is on iPhone. Seal numbers are typed, not scanned. For customer data from the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, our Data Processing Agreement includes the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (Module 2, controller to processor) for transfers to the US.
Do you run pilots?
Yes. The Founding Partner pilot is for up to five warehouses, by application and with no card. It lasts 30 days and is separate from the 14-day trial. You set up your own doors in Vantage (email us if you get stuck) and run it on your real gate. You pay only if it works: then you pick a plan at the published price on this page. If it doesn't, you pay nothing. In exchange we ask for honest feedback; a case study only if you offer it.
