Gate scans continue uninterrupted. Cloud OCR fallback may pause until upgrade — on-device OCR keeps running, so the clerk's scan flow is uninterrupted. You'll see a notification when you approach your monthly limit, so the upgrade is your call, not a surprise.

Vantage runs entirely on a phone and needs no RFID readers, gate cameras, or sensors. It does not read RFID tags, so it neither requires nor depends on your existing gate hardware. You can retire that hardware or keep it for other uses. In the iPhone app, trailer and container numbers are read from a photo instead, and container numbers are checked against the ISO 6346 check digit. In the browser, the clerk types the number.
